Using the Library

All players, whether writers or not, have the ability to buy and sell their books at the server’s library. By renting a shop slot for your book, you must automatically adhere to the rules. The library is located at X: 196 Y: 64 Z: -40

Rules
1. Each aisle in the library is classified by genre. For example, if you are planning to write a comedy, please select a shop space in the comedy section, etc.

2. The players of Businesscraft are of all ages. All written content must be suitable for all ages (See “Writer’s Content” Law). No profanity or suggestive themes.

3. Unless given special permission, you are limited to renting one shop space per genre.

4. Only written books can be sold in the library. The seller is also not allowed to sell books written by other players.

5. You can only write about another player with their permission.

Refusal to follow the rules will result in your removal from the library without refund.

Library Etiquette
The library is a community shop, which means that we all renters share the space. It is important to follow the rules of common courtesy so that everyone who would like to rent a shop space may do so successfully.
  • If your book does not follow the guidelines, you are subject to eviction at any time.

  • If your rent time runs out before you are able to renew it, there is nothing we can do about this. Any books you have left in the chest may be vaulted, but there is no guarantee. You must be independent and keep tabs on this yourself.

  • It’s a bad idea to be mean or start a war with your competition. You should all be on the same team!

  • If you do not have the writer prefix in-game but want to have your book sold in the library, you are allowed to do so! Please be courteous to the other writers, though. If there are only a few spaces available for rent, maybe consider leaving them for the writers, and checking back in a week?

  • If you have any questions or are unsure about whether your book follows all the rules, please contact a DoE&E member for assistance!

Please keep in mind that these rules are subject to change at any time.
