Department of Economy

Progress

  • Spawns information has been looked over and updated however not implemented due to server administrative reasons.
  • Sales tax was increased with the help of parliament.
Goals
  • Finish the econ package.
  • Create a new method to get money to players. This will be in the form of labor which will aim to help create infrastructure across the server. More information will come when this idea is further discussed.
Department of Health

Progress
A. What was accomplished this month:
Over January 2021, the Department of Health treated 883 patients and vaccinated 6 across every city on the server.
As of the previous month, we also hired a new HS (Shecky_) and more recently we hired a swath of new doctors.

Behind the scenes, we've been hard at work on pulling the strings to increase doctor productivity further. We increased the effectiveness of soothing potion (and removed the chance to cure) as well as decreasing doctor paychecks all so slightly. The goal is to nudge doctors towards attending patients and reaping the benefits from that rather than from the paychecks.
B. What plans from the previous month did the department achieve this month:
Monumentally, the new hospital (Credit to _MrFib and the Department of Construction) was pasted in this month and as such we have base of operations. We also increased doctor productivity by a considerable amount.

Goals

The DoH Has been finalizing payouts for the doctors leaderboard and at the time that these reports are published, they may already be finalized and announced. We also would like to push patient penalties for patients who cause trouble for doctors leaving little to no (sometimes even negative) gain for doctors. This is somewhat classified so the rest of the details are TBA. We would also like to bring doctor exams in other cities.

Department of Justice

Progress
The department hasn't gone through many changes within this month, unfortunately. but good news has succeeded in making a new exam job for Businesscraft. In-regards to the multiple PO stations, I haven't taken the time yet to work with the mayors on getting a plot of land for Government purposes. But coming soon
