- Title: Fraud criminalization
- Type: (Amendment/Removal/Creation): Creation
- Reasoning: We've had issues in the past revolving around not having a fraud law. Between the people v. Topte and Squifot + Inperium and Partners at Law vs MeepdaMeep123, it's clear that we need some sort of definition for fraud and punishment for it. I recommend not giving punishments based on how many times the offense was committed due to the nature that fraud is different each time. Sometimes it is big, sometimes it is small, in either case, it still needs to be dealt with. Let the Judge decide the proper course of action.
- Bill: Fraud is a false statement, misrepresentation, or deceitful conduct designed to gain something of value by misleading or deceiving someone into believing something that the perpetrator knows to be false.
Punishment:
All Offenses: Judge's Discretion with jail time not exceeding 15 minutes and fines with reasonable limits between 25% to 150% of the case's overall value.
