This would be great, but that would mean the extermination of the phantom membrane market, and also the fear factor you need to exercise even when you think you're safe.

I voted no because if you sleep in a bed at night, even if it doesn’t go to day, it’ll reset the phantom spawning for you. So basically if you sleep for < 30 seconds, phantoms won’t spawn for you unless you go 3 Minecraft days without sleeping again. This way those who want the membranes can keep collecting them and those who don’t want phantoms can get rid of them. Also, even if the membrane doesn’t drop, you receive 20 kr for killing it.
