- Title: Ministerial Nomination Bill
- Type: Creation
- Reasoning:

```Current Process:```
**1. PM nominates a player for a ministerial position in #parliament **
**2. MPs are able to ask the nominee further questions in #political-discussion should they choose.** If they do not ask further questions, the nomination isn't made public prior to voting approval.
**3. MPs vote on the nomination after 24 hours.**
```Proposed System:```
**1. PM nominates a player for a ministerial position in #gov-announcements ** In essence, this guarantees that the public are made aware of the nomination and reasoning behind it rather than relying on MPs to pass it down in bits and pieces.
**2. MPs will ask any questions they have for the nominee in private. Citizens are encouraged to approach an MP privately to address any concerns with the nominee.**
**3. MPs vote on the nomination after 24 hours.**

This means that members of the public can convey their support and concerns for such a significant appointment.

No extra steps to the current nomination process, just the channel that it is announced in.

- Bill:
The ministerial nomination: ```I am nominating _________ for ____________. -reason-``` is posted to #gov-announcements rather than #parliament. The nominee answers MP questions in private.

Thanks to Sprite for raising the issue.
