In a vote of 6:1, Parliament has resolved that:

Due to the recent string of questionable motions and edits before those motions become law. I suggest that a new text channel be made called #motion-discussion and would require all motions be posted there for a minimum of 24-hours before a forum thread can be made in Parliament sub-forums. This would allow people to see what the people they voted for are doing and give feedback and post concerns.

A proposed motion is to be shown publicly in the #motion-creation channel on discord for 24hours, and then on the server forums page for another 24 hours before parliamentary voting can begin.

In a vote of 6:1, Parliament has resolved that:

MP’s are no longer allowed to remove their proposed motions from the #motion-creation channel on the BusinessCraft Discord. If done the MP doing so will receive a Warning Point from the Speaker of Parliament.

Instead, if a motion receives negative public feedback or is for whatever reason decided to not be put into the voting phase, the MP who posted the motion will put at the bottom of the bill “This motion will not continue the parliamentary procedure process (due to/Because of) (Reason)."

    • Any changes/clarifications to an Act of Parliament will be merged on to the original Act of Parliament thread.
