Purpose/Content:
To raise money for the Department of Health to support its doctors and patients who are unfortunately diseased with plague. Over the past two years that the server has been opened, we have seen many players deceased by the plague. It is time for us to step up and support the brave doctors who risk their lives everyday curing patients from unforgivable disease such as the plague.


To support the Department of Health, Bloom is holding a marathon. 40% of funds given by teams will go to the Department of Health. The remaining 60% will be split evenly between city-owners sponsoring the event.


In teams of 3, each plague runner will choose and run one of the three legs from Ocean Crown City -> Capital City -> Covington City -> Palm Bay, a newly formed city.

The fastest team wins a special prize!

You will be running along the length of the government highway.


You may only sign up in teams of 3. Teams of 1 or 2 will not be accepted.

You will have to choose and recruit three people you wish to run with, and choose a team name. If you need help finding a teammate, contact Vroomba in-game. If you cannot in-game, he is available on discord at Bubbles4#2010. Make sure to change all your skins to a theme according to your team name!!! Prize at the end for best skin theme!

You will have to pay 900 krunas per team. That is 300 krunas per person. This fee covers food/drinks. None of your money will go to Bloom. All will be spent towards good cause. Make your payments to Vroomba when he is online to confirm registration. Otherwise, contact Vroomba on Discord @ (Bubbles4#2010).
You may make your payments through /mail.


Financial Aid:
If you are unable to pay, Financial Aid is available. Only apply for Financial Aid if you are short on money and cannot make the cut. Send any Community Coordinator or Vroomba (Bubbles4#2010) a DM or /mail in game for more information. Request the amount you need with a short reason why.


This race is 11 kilometers long. 60% of funds will go to the Department of Health to support hard-working doctors. We encourage Doctors to participate in the run, along with staff members and players with government jobs. Everyone should/can participate!



The legs of the race are shown below.. There are three legs to this race:

1st Leg, Runner 1/3: (Start)
Ocean Crown City -> Capital City;

2nd Leg, Runner 2/3:
Capital City -> Covington City;

3rd Leg, Runner 3/3:
Covington City -> Palm Bay
(Finish)


Starting Line: Ocean Crown City

First Checkpoint: Capital City

Second Checkpoint: Covington City

Finish Line: Palm Bay City

Marathon and Writing Contest awards will take place at Palm Bay City at the end of the race. Be there!


Rules:
- You cannot use cars, bikes, or any other form of transportation other than walking/running while you are running
- You cannot leave the highway e.g. cutting corners to go faster (unless you quit);
- You may not use warps of any kind while on course;
- You must listen & follow all directions given by Vroomba, katt_tail, Luxaholic, any staff and any city mayor/council member at all times;
- No cheating; cheaters will be given a second chance to redeem themselves. After that, it’s a kick.
- Have fun! You are running to support brave patients in the hospital trying to survive the plague. Run for a good cause!
- Follow the law at all times.


FAQs:

Will food be provided?
Food will be supplied along the length of the highway. However, please do pack and bring your own! Any food you bring will help eliminate waste and time to put this event together. Thank you! You can purchase food at checkpoints for a very cheap price if you’re not apart of the race. If you are looking to buy food but you are not in a team running in the race, it will be priced at most 10-20 krunas higher.

How do I find out where my teammates are on course?
There is a very simple way to figure this out. Our server features a dynamic map anybody can use easily and efficiently for locating buildings, players, and more! The dynamic map is avaialable to anyone by clicking here: https://mcbusinesscraft.com/map/




Prizes will be given out at Palm Bay, the finish line!

In addition, there will be an auction held at Palm Bay. The funds from the silent auction will be given to government approved city-owners.


There is ONE award for this event, and it’s a money prize. Whichever teams scores the fastest cumulative time will receive 15,000 Krunas!

Be at Ocean Crown City by 11:40 AM EST. Warm up.
Line up at start line at 11:55 AM EST.
Race Starts at 12:00 PM EST.

As of right now the answer from me is undecided to both but will tell you when I can.
