The BC Journal

Hey everyone! I'm pleased to be bringing you a new news/statistics company officially called "The BC Journal". Our goal as a company is to provide unbiased news reportings through statistics and data, rather than opinion journalism. We plan to put out three regular publications a month, the Consumers Choice Awards, the Approval Rating Report, and the Diamond 10 Report.

The Consumers Choice Awards will focus on recognizing companies not for their assets and stock prices, but for their service to consumers. At the end of each month, we will group companies by category and allow consumers to vote on their favorites for each category. Then, the category winners will all compete for the top spot in hopes of winning the "Consumer's Choice Award". Voting will take place at the end of each month.

The Approval Rating Report will be a monthly survey to determine the approval ratings for all government officials. Each Member of Parliament and Minister will be placed on the poll. Participants will also be given the chance to comment on why they gave the rating that they did so that the government officials in question can better understand what they are doing right, and what needs to be improved. Voting will take place during the middle of each month.

The Diamond 10 Report will rank the top 10 companies on BC in terms of assets. All companies will self report their assets, but records will be double-checked by the BCJ team to ensure validity. Results will be released at the end of each month.

We also plan to release other miscellaneous reports throughout the month, but those will be announced when they occur. All polls will be anonymous, meaning that names will not be attached to the responses that are published. All reports will be published for free on the forums, but we will be releasing in-game collectors books with the same information found on the forums. These books are great for BC history nerds or just collectors in general. We also are happy to accept donations.

Thank you all for reading, and we look forward to seeing you in the reports!
