With warps phasing out, the three main ways of commuting are planes, fast yet expensive, used for intercity transportation; cars/bikes, a little slower yet more cost-effective, used for mostly intracity transportation with the highway allowing citizens intercity commutes; and walking, very slow and sometimes dangerous, used for minor intracity trips.
As an alternative, trains are a great, less expensive way to travel cross country (or in BC's case, cross cities.) Buses, on the other hand, are equally effective methods to travel within major cities to get from your apartment to a park or store. In adding these to BC, players will pick which station they are going to, pay, then they will be teleported to a train car or a bus for about 30-60 seconds depending on which stop they pick, like the plane animation. Prices will also depend on how far the stop is from your destination.
