Bill
To

The Parliament of Stratham enacts:

Section 1. Short Title

(1) This Act is the VoNC Refusal/reformed Act.

Section 2. Commencement

(1) All Provisions shall come into effect upon the clearing of the last lawsuit and VoNC.

Section 3. Reasoning.

(1) Currently the Speaker of Parliament can deny appointing a DSoP and not announce their own VoNC. This bill will make it so that if the speaker doesn’t announce their VoNC in 12 hours the Member of Parliament that proposed the VoNC in parliament chat to announce it in <#569917895879032842>. This will also help the confusion of how many times a government official can be VONCed for the same thing.

Section 4. Rescinded bills.

(1) Rescind the VoNC reform bill.

Section 5. Vonc Reform Bill updates

(1) The process begins with Parliament’s joint decision to initiate a vonc against an accused government official being presented by the Speaker or Member of parliament after 12 hours. Then a channel-specific to the official’s vonc will be created viewable to the public but discussion with remain exclusive to parliament members and the accused government official. After this channel is set up the accused official will receive and answer questions and the evidence for initial claims of vonc will also be presented by the current parliament members. Once the allotted time period is finished or a motion to end the trial early requiring a simple majority (50% rounded up) is passed, this channel will then be locked and the speaker will move to the next phase in the process.
(a) After the public trial the current speaker or Member of Parliament who proposed it after 10 hours after the public trial will create a thread with only two options, as removal is a binary process aye (in favor of removal) and nay (against the removal). To remove the accused government official, a ⅔ rounded up majority is needed to remove The Speaker of Parliament, Ministers & Judges. As for Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Members of Parliament a 7/9 (¾ rounded up) majority is required to remove these specific government officials. This process will take place over 24 hours.

(2) A government official can have no more than 4 VONC Trials against them in a single term
