Dept. of Construction: Minister Orangiez

Department Progress:
Post office and Courthouse design finished.
A few new channels and organizations were added to the discord including a doc to-do list where PI's can report minor issues found throughout the city.

Upcoming Projects:
New tutorial. Unfortunately not much progress, will continue working on it. We will work with necessary departments and administration to construct it.

New airport still being constructed by orangiez, still considering locations and designs that will integrate well with the city.

Still upcoming: We have big plans to redesign the land the city is on into an island with a redesigned forest area as well as beaches and a few islands. We do not have an ETA but will likely wait for the increased build height of 1.18 to begin construction.

Suburbs may be expanded in the near future.

More empty plots will soon be put on sale.

Still upcoming: Spawn buildings such as a new Employment office, government shops, donor room, and more will be constructed soon.

Still upcoming: The boat near spawn to take players to the new resource world will be updated soon to look more like an exploration vessel.

Please note that theres a high chance that not ALL of these ideas will be implemented this month.

Departmental Changes including structural reform and improvement of pasting application, city land zoning, and tracking system.


Dept. of Public Affairs: Minister Kiko (Previously Gabi)

Progress of the Department:
  • Hired Kawaibab as an Event Planner
  • Events: Monopoly, Parkour Tag, Kahoot, Horse Racing
  • Released Movie Suggestion Google Forms
  • Admins hosted Turkey Hunt
  • 1,063 tutorial completions this month (Decrease from last month)
  • 306 Tony Tours completed (Increase from last month)
  • Approval Ratings are back
  • We hosted this term's approval ratings
  • DoPA was put incharge of spawn decorating
  • Events feature was implemented in discord that the DoPA has been using
  • Currently planning holiday events and a few others
Goals for next month:
  • More social media posts
  • Update tourguide exam and guide
  • More ways to get the community involved in events
  • Finish implementing Influencer perks
  • Event quotas for Event Planners
  • Tourguide Pay reduced to 15kr per 15 minutes

Dept of Economy: Minister Kosmo

Summary
The department has been tirelessly at work trying to evaluate, brainstorm, and come up with creative new ideas to further boost the economy; as we all know the economy has been moving on the slow side lately and it has not gone unnoticed. Getting money back in everyone's pockets is our number one priority! We do have some big projects coming to light here soon in regards to being able to boost job specific markets and get specialty stores back up and running!

-Closure of quarries to monitor over-supply in the Mining job market

Upcoming
-Pushing to reduce item drops when gathered outside of a players specific job.
-Further looking to increase the use of companies by creating an incentive for hiring players, especially new ones.
-We are looking into creative ways to drive players out of the wild and create more populated cities
-New player retention is always on our minds!
