Title: Open Doors Policy
Title: Open Doors Policy
Given that transparency and citizen input have been declining over the last few months, it is imperative that the council take steps to restore citizen confidence and involvement in our decisions.
I hereby order,
(1) An open door policy for all Ministers. This means that anybody can DM or tag any Minister at any time for any topic unless exempted by Item (3).
(2) Topics that can be reached out for include but are not limited to general questions about the state or direction of a department, concerns about the department or its employees, or ideas that pertain to that department.
(3) Exemptions do apply, however. Citizens may not reach out to a Minister expecting disclosure of classified information, an unfair advantage or gain, or in a manner consistent with harassment as defined in our rules.
(4) Amendments of this policy make take place in the future, but must be announced.
This policy is to take effect immediately.
