- Why do you want to be an Event Planner: I think I have a lot of fun ideas for events and I feel like there are not enough event planners at the moment so it would be really fun to help out the DoPA and produce lots of entertainment for all of the players. I like when we are able to get players to get together and step away from the seriousness of the server and just have fun and forget about their worries.
I have hosted events before on the server of my own accord. I created an international women's day event at my club in Ocean City, I have hosted little parties and the zoo opening for the players, I would definitely love to be able to do more. And when noodlekitten was an event planner I helped her create an event called Summerween based off of the show gravity falls.
- What can you bring to the Department:
A few ideas I had for events:
Rainbow Road event: Everybody knows the infamous rainbow road from Mario Kart, right?? Well if you don't then now is your chance to experience it! With the help of the DoC a track would be made and with the new vehicle plugin we can set up a fun themed race :)
Raffle baskets: Ocean City is soon going to be hosting an event where players can bid on cool chests filled with random items and I would be more than happy to share my cities Idea with DoPA to use.
Some small events: Hosting more parties in different cities, drop parties as well, I really think we should start doing events in other cities so I will do my best to promote that if I get accepted.
Sports events: adding a block ball plugin for a soccer game in Westridge
Spirit week: In my high school we had a week where every day was a new theme. In this event it would just be a fun little community thing like a game, and every day would be a new theme, business could decorate every day for the theme, players can change skins, just a cute event.
Gladiator Event: hosted at Westridge stadium
Purge Event: Maybe in a separate world where we can allow people to go wild in a broken down city, with guns, tanks, planes, helicopters, cars, and random treasure chests and you have to survive the event in order to win the grand prize!
Snowball fight: Since the holidays are coming back around I think bringing this back would be tons of fun, I know DoPA hosted the event before and it was great fun!
