Landscaper Basics

The Landscaper exam can be found in the University
-> /gps start 2-Queen-St

Landscapers work under the Department of Internal Development to maintain the wilderness by fixing damaged areas, demolishing unclaimed structures, planting trees, and other methods. Landscapers are an important part of the Department of Internal Development's mission to ensure a clean and green wilderness for current and future players alike. Additionally, being a Landscaper will help a player to gain the experience they need to apply for the higher position of Environmental Manager.

Working as a Landscaper

Working as a Landscaper

Because Landscapers do not have direct access to the main DoID storage, they must either buy/gather their own materials, request to work with a Environmental Manager, or use the landscaper storage in the department building. A Ranger may lend materials from the main DoID storage to the Landscaper.

While Landscapers can work with Rangers, they do not have the same job responsibilities as the rangers. For example, Landscapers cannot transport pets to and from the server’s animal shelters; that is a job for Rangers. Landscapers may also ask for help from other landscapers, AS's, or Rangers if they need help cleaning up an area.

Landscapers are paid via bonuses per Landscaper Report as determined by the Minister or Senior DoID member. In order to log their work, Landscapers must submit Landscaper Reports to the forums under Wild Reports -> Landscaper Reports.

Please read the Landscaper Report Guide in addition to this guide before taking the Landscaper Exam: https://mcbusinesscraft.com/forum/threads/landscaper-report-guide.11361/

Landscapers are able to support a Ranger to gather experience in the DoID. Their efforts whilst helping a Ranger may be aided by being teleported to a Ranger or supervised fly permissions.

Landscapers may be banned or suspended from work at the DoID Minister’s discretion. However, some incidents will result in immediate Ban of a Landscaper’s employment, including (but not limited to) the breaking of needless destruction of landscape laws, breaking of animal abuse laws, and other department specific laws.
