- How long have you had the Auxiliary Police job for: I have held the police officer role for around half a year (I am reapplying for PO)
- Why do you want to be a Police Officer: I have always enjoyed helping people, and this position has definitely given me happiness. I have over six months experience as a PO and have both gained experience and joy in doing the job I love. From arresting people for murder to hunting down drug caches this had been a wonderful experience which I want to repeat. Now for why I should be rehired. As mentioned above, I have around half a year’s worth of experience in the DOJ, plus my time as a cadet equals almost a year in the DOJ. This experience will help me as any officer needs to know how to react to situations, and knowing what to do from prior encounters with the same issue really helps. I also have a passion to help people, which I think also helps with doing the job.
- What can you bring to the Department: I can bring to the department 4 months of experience as a cadet plus 6 months as a PO of experience. I can also bring a mature and logical mindset, willing to try my hardest.
