What is the Auxiliary Police?
AP’s have limited law enforcement permissions, and would mainly be used to report and record crimes to be dealt with and providing a trainee position for future PO’s to get used to commands and protocols, Basic things a member of the AP should know is the current punishment for murder, current punishment for trespassing, how many firearm strikes it takes to lose your firearm licence, castle law, and the abuse of government signs law. Other things that should be kept in mind is that the only suitable evidence for murder is the death message and the person saying they did not consent, nothing else.
As an AP you also need to be able to answer the majority of questions that players have about basic server laws, and the punishments for them (for example currently murder has a punishment of 10 minutes jail and an 80kr fine) You also must be able to differentiate between laws that are dealt with by the DoJ, and laws that are dealt with by other departments or in the court. AP Commands
-/apdynmap [show/hide] [player] To use if a player is hidden on dynmap so that you can get close enough to handcuff/a PO to arrest them
-/wanted list and /wanted add [player] Used to notify other members of the DoJ when a player is awaiting arrest. Normally a player is only added once they have logged off the server
You get one warning for if you abuse any of the permissions that you have, then you are out
Handcuffing
When you pass the exam as part of your training you will receive a set of handcuffs. Handcuffs are used to take a player to any DoJ location in order for a PO to jail them (POs can only jail on DoJ land). You handcuff a player by right clicking a player with your handcuffs in your main hand.
The player will then proceed to follow you around then server, and will get in vehicles with you (provided they are two seater). A bar appears at the top of your screen when you have handcuffed a player to remind you of their presence. The use of handcuffs are closely monitored and any abuse of them will be severely punished.

- Only use handcuffs when a player needs to be held for a police officer to arrest them.
- Ask for consent from the victim whenever you get a death message in the city.
- If a person claims they killed someone in self-defence don’t ignore and ask for proof.
- Suitable Evidence for crimes may only be screenshots, videos, and in some cases witnesses if there are enough.
- As a member of the DoJ you need to be on your best behavior, so if you commit 3 offences of any crime you will be fired from the department.
