- Title: Private City Progress Rules
- Type of motion (Edit/Removal/Creation): Creation
- Elaboration & Reasoning: Currently on the server we have a private city that has been not getting anywhere for the last few months. Multiple players have expressed their concerns about this and even wanted to become the new owners of the city just because they have ideas and want to have a city of their own but don't want to let an already existing one go to waste. So that's why I'm proposing this:
  • Newly made Mayors (and their Councillors) need to start work on the city within 14 days from when they obtained it
  • They will have to keep in touch with Community Coordinators and the Department of Public Affairs, which will check on the city and its progress from time to time
  • If they fail to start working on the city within those 14 days, they will be given a 7 day grace period to elaborate what went wrong and if they need some ideas/help, consult with the Department of Construction
  • If still the progress of the city is minimal to none, the Prime Minister will present the city and case to Parliament which will then vote if the city will be repossessed by the Government.
  • If the city is to be repossessed, the old Mayor will receive a 90% refund.
  • The city land will once again be auctioned off and the same Mayor/Councillors will not be able to place any bids on that city land.
