Amend the Constitution

The Parliament of Stratham enacts:

Section 1. Short Title

(1) This Act is the Playtime Adjustment Amendment.

Section 2. Commencement

(1) All provisions shall come into effect upon signage of this bill.

Section 3. Purpose and Reasoning

(1) To Adjust PT and /bcseen time requirements for high ranking positions

Section 4. Prime Minister PT Requirement Adjustment

4.1(a) Changing requirements from:

1.1(c) The following requirements must be met to run for Prime Minister:

1. Holding thirty-six (36) hours of active playtime by the start of the election cycle.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks before the start of the election cycle.
3. Holding a minimum of two (2) weeks of total playtime preceding the start of the election cycle.
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Must have a discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

To:

1.1(c) The following requirements must be met to run for Prime Minister:

1. Holding thirty-six (36) hours of active playtime by the start of the election cycle.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks before the start of the election cycle.
3. Holding a minimum of two (2) weeks of total playtime preceding the start of the election cycle or holding a /bcseen of 72 hours or more
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Must have a discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

Section 5. Deputy Prime Minister Playtime Requirement Adjustment

5.1(a) Changing Requirements From

1.3(b) The following requirements must be met to run for Deputy Prime Minister:

1. Holding twenty-four (24) hours of active playtime by the start of the election cycle.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks before the start of the election cycle.
3. Holding a minimum of two (2) weeks of total playtime preceding the start of the election cycle.
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Must have a discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

To

1.3(b) The following requirements must be met to run for Deputy Prime Minister:

1. Holding twenty-four (24) hours of active playtime by the start of the election cycle.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks before the start of the election cycle.
3. Holding a minimum of two (2) weeks of total playtime preceding the start of the election cycle or holding a /bcseen of 60 hours or more
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Must have a discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

Section 6. Parliament member PT Requirement Adjustment

6.1(a) Changing parliament Requirements from:

2.3(a) No person shall be eligible to run for Member of Parliament without meeting the following requirements:

1. Holding a minimum of twelve hours (12) of active playtime by the nomination.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks before the nomination.
3. Holding a minimum of one (1) week total playtime.
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Must have a discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

TO:

2.3(a) No person shall be eligible to run for Member of Parliament without meeting the following requirements:

1. Holding a minimum of twelve hours (12) of active playtime by the start of the election cycle.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks before the start of the election cycle.
3. Holding a minimum of one (1) week total playtime or having minimum /bcseen of 48 hours
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Must have a discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

Section 7. Minister PT Requirements

7.1(a) Adding section 1.8 Minister Playtime Requirements:

1.8(a) To be eligible for minister position nomination and appointment the following requirements must be meet:

1. Holding a minimum of twelve hours (12) of active playtime by the start of the election cycle.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks before the start of the election cycle.
3. Holding a minimum of five (5) days total playtime or having a join date in the discord of longer than 45 days.
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Must have a discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

8.5(a) Election Cycle is defined as after the declaration for positions period has ended
