Why do you think you deserve this role? The DoJ has always been my favorite department and I hate to see it go through bad times like these. I genuinely care for the department and will always help it as best as I can. I've served as Captain and an ACO before so I have a good amount of experience for the role.
What do you think you can bring to this role? I can bring my hard work, management skills, and leadership to the department. I'm available pretty all day except when I'm sleeping so I can be ready for any task. My experience as an officer is definitely something I can bring as I've worked here for almost a year.
What would you change about the DoJ? I'd create more protocols that officers must follow such as searches, arrests, handling reports, etc. I'd a establish code of conduct that officers are required to follow while on duty in order to increase some roleplay and gain the confidence of the public.
What do you think the DoJ needs to improve? I believe the DoJ needs to improve on its roleplay aspects. Currently, there isn't much roleplay for criminal activities and officers. As I mentioned before these protocols for arrests and such could help level the field for criminals and officers. Another thing I think we need to improve is our reaction time to an urgent 911 call or government officials being in danger.
How much time can you dedicate to the DoJ? I can dedicate all the time the department requires of me for the next couple of months.
What do you think this role entails? I think the role of deputy minister requires lots of responsibility and accountability. Those in this position are responsible for the day-to-day functions of the department and assisting the minister with their duties. As this position is one of the highest in the department you're expected to show maturity and leadership.
