The Stratham Treason Safety Act

To
Expand on the original Treason Act and increase the protection of our nation from harmful individuals.
The Parliament of Stratham enacts:
Section 1. Short Title
(1) This Act is the TSTS ACT
Section 2. Commencement
(1) All provisions shall come into effect upon passage of this bill.
(2) The original TTA Act, or The Treason Act, will be rescinded and replaced with the TSTS Act or The Stratham Treason Safety Act.
(3) Ex Post Facto Clause: law that retroactively changes the legal consequences of actions that were committed, or relationships that existed, before the enactment of the law.
Section 3. Reasoning
(1) In the republic we trust our loyalties hold, to ensure that no citizens conspire against the state in means of damaging or hurting its people.
Section 4. Treason
(1) Attempting to overthrow the elected government of the Republic of Stratham via means outside the law.
(2) Attempting to secede from the Republic of Stratham via means outside the law.
(3) Engaging in conduct with the goal of weakening the Republic of Stratham on behalf of enemies of the state or individuals charged with treason.
(3A) Attempting to undermine the Republic of Stratham or its people within the means of the law.
(4) Attempting/succeeding, to/in obtain State or Government secrets/information for the use of selling or for personal use.
(5) The Act of paying/bribing or in another form of monetary persuasion an individual to leak/obtain/sell information relating to the State or the Government.
(6) The Attempt/succeeding, to/in destabilise the government via means of malicious/personal/fabricated or false acts.
(7) The Assistants/aiding off any charge or act of treason will define the said person as a co- conspirator and will/could receive a same punishment as the Person committing the Act.
(8) Engaging in conduct with the goal of assisting any individual charged with treason in their actions.
Section 5. Punishments
Subject on a case by case basis by court trial, Letter of Provisional Sentencing submitted by the Office of Attorney General with the Executive Approval of Prime Minister and the Signature of the presiding Judge.
