Rescinded "Change the Topic"

- Elaboration & Reasoning: While most conversation in the global chat is harmless, on occasion topics can make players feel uncomfortable. In an effort to solve the problem, this motion suggests the implementation of the ability to request a "change of topic".

For example, a player is feeling uncomfortable with the conversation in global. They could through either Discord DM’s or in-game PM’s, send a staff member a message asking for a change of topic or explaining their discomfort with the current discussion. The staff member would then assist in moving the conversation along.

This would better assure all players are feeling at ease without anyone feeling silenced or the needless addition of banned topics.

This bill has been vetoed.
People can already staff know (if the staff members are not already aware) that there is an inappropriate discussing ongoing. If the topic, however, is not inappropriate but just makes a specific player uncomfortable, the topic should not be forcefully changed just because one player doesn't like it. The player also has the ability to mute those players for the time being if they do not want to see those messages.
