City Expansion Act

A Bill

To

Facilitate Affordable Property Ownership for New and Moderate-Income Players in BC

Section 1. Short Title

(1) This legislative initiative is titled the City Expansion Act.

Section 2. Commencement

(1) All provisions of this Act shall come into effect upon signage.

Section 3. Reasoning

(1) Acquiring plots within existing cities has become an impossible task, often resulting in extreme prices or swift sales.

(2) Opportunities for lower to middle-class players to purchase properties are scarce, with most plots either auctioned at prohibitive prices or sold instantly.

(3) Notably, Covington and Ocean City on the new map remain inaccessible, delaying the chance for players to expand beyond Lexford and Capital City, both of which lack available commercial plots.

(4) The extensive land on the new map provides a unique opportunity to address this issue by creating additional towns, ensuring ample space for expansion and increasing active city/town options.

Section 4. Solution

(1) Empower the Parliament to establish a new town adjacent to Capital City and Lexford.

(a) This town, smaller than Capital City, will offer numerous affordable commercial plots, providing an avenue for lower-class players to purchase and establish businesses.
