Create the Department of Public Transportation

The Parliament of Stratham enacts:

Section 1. Short Title

(1) This Act is the DoPT Creation Act
Section 2. Commencement

(1) This bill shall come into effect immediately upon signage

Section 3. Reasoning

(1) A Department of Public Transportation should created and added to the Republic of Stratham for the following reasons:
A. The Department of Construction (DoC) handles most if not all of the roads, buildings, plots and transportation in Stratham alongside the Department of State (DoS).
B. To shorten and make the DoC’s job easier, the Department of Transportation (DoPT) will handle all of the transportation on Stratham with the help of the DoC and DoS.
C. The DoPT will additionally be in charge of thinking of new transportation systems to add to Stratham, such as a Tram, Metro, etc. with help from the DoC and DoS.

Section 4. Department Set Up

  1. The Department of Public Transportation shall be created with the Abbreviation DoPT
  2. The DoPT will be led by the Minister of Public Transportation
  3. The DoPT will be in charge of Road Maintenance and the creation of new roads
  4. The DoPT will be charged with the regulation of Public transportation, creations of new bus stops
  5. The DoPT will be charged with the duty of naming roads, highways, waterways and other hubs of transport
  6. The DoPT will be charged with the facilitation of Airports and wild air ports
  7. Will be in charge of cost of the different public transports
  8. Will have Transportation Secretaries to assist them in the facilitation of the department
