- Elaboration & Reasoning: Right now, if there is a tie for seventh place (or a tie that would result in more than seven MPs), the tied candidates are put up for a vote to the current Parliament. As others have pointed out, this is a flawed system. To replace this system, another poll is made between the tied candidates where the number of votes each voter gets is equal to the number of candidates who will become MPs (if there is a three way tie for two spots, for example, voters would have two votes). The poll will last 24 hours so as to limit the extra time added before election results are announced.
- Other Information: If the number of MPs changes in the future, all uses of the number of total MPs (at this time: seven) will be automatically changed to the total number of MPs there should be at that time, without the need for an edited bill.
