Title: Mini Polls
Title: Mini Polls
Given that transparency and citizen input have been declining over the last few months, it is imperative that the council take steps to restore citizen confidence and involvement in our decisions.
I hereby order,
(1) The creation of a "Mini Poll" system where Ministers may reach out to citizens to gauge public opinion on policies.
(2) Public opinion is currently discussed in political and economic discussion, but the primary message often gets lost within the conversation. Therefore, these mini polls will be announced on gov-announcements on discord with a simple Aye/Nay format. Further discussions can take place in economy and political discussion channels.
(3) This policy does not mandate that policy discussions need a mini poll attached, it is simply another tool that can be used.
(4) Amendments of this policy may take place in the future, but must be announced.
This policy is to take effect immediately.
