- Describe your experience with Stratham's economy and business sectors: The experiences that I have had with Stratham's economy have been relatively varied. I currently own and operate a small logging shop in the Government Mall. I additionally posted an ad on the Discord server in the #advertisement channel, take a look for yourself. Before opening up the store front though, I supplied Lentark_ /LenCorp a few months back starting on March 7th 2025, large quanities of logs (shulkers of logs each delivery) to gain some capital. Through out all of this, I have seen first hand how volitite and unpredictable the servers economy can be via the simple supply and demand of logs when an item is no longer in demand by someone with great purchasing power. I have also went through the qualification processes for the driver's licence and weapons permit giving me a better feel for the job guides.
- What new ideas can you bring to the department?: I bring forward the fundamental idea that the server should focus on increasing new player retention through the means of getting their first job. The institutions used to get these new players jobs NEED to be streamlined and edited/replaced with accurate and updated information. This creates less confusion and stress for the newbies, and the faster these players see some cash go into their wallets, the more likely they are to stay.
An example of this madness would be the mentions of a company plugin for an entrepreneur role that are linked within the job guide. That plugin does not exist in the server anymore according to a long term player that I asked.
- Why do you want to work for the DoE?: I would like to join the DoE to focus one mission. That is to update the information on the job guides, and organize it into a much more palatable format for new players. Misinformation is a massive problem on this server and it needs to be curved, and job guides are the best place to start.
