    Title: Insider Trading

    Type: Creation

Reasoning: With the addition of a stock market into BC, insider trading may become an issue that can provide unfair advantages to some people. Insider trading is defined as “the illegal practice of trading on the stock exchange to one's own advantage through having access to confidential information.” Confidential information can be defined in this instance as any information not available to the public or that gives a trader an unfair advantage.

Bill: Insider trading will be illegal. This will be monitored by the DoBD and punished by the DoJ.

    Punishments:
First offense- Warning + removal of profits obtained

Second offense- 5 min jail time + removal of profits

Third offense- 10 min jail time + 1 week suspension of all trading activities

Fourth offense- 15 min jail time + removal from stock market participation
