The Attorney General and the Office of Attorney General

Section 5. Clarification

This bill is hereby VETOED and not granted Prime Ministerial Assent.

This bill makes the position and office of the Attorney General unnecessary. Although I agree that government employees need the right to access legal support, they should first go via the AG office, and then if the AG is unable to take the case or offer support for any reason (conflict of interest, too busy etc) then at that point they should be able to reach out to outside council. I would be in full support of the bill if it was to be reproposed saying the above.
