- Title: Process of Legislature Modification
- Type: Edit
- Reasoning: Currently a new Act of Parliament (AoP) is made when a motion is passed into a bill. We have about 7 pages of those, which is a lot to read though, and can get complicated. When linking to one, questions can come up like:
Is this current, or was it overturned by a newer one?
What edits have been made, if any?
And maybe others.
I suggest we do four things:
1. Clean up all 7ish pages of ApP with the procedure below to make the government section easier to read/understand.
2. Make edits (via new post and procedure below) to AoPs when a motion is an edit.
3. Create an "Outdated/Invalid" section for Acts of Parliament that have been overturned.
4. Modify the Motion Creation Template.

- Motion: The Speaker of Parliament will combine and condense current Acts of Parliament per the following procedures:
The first instance of an Act of Parliament will be the canonical one, and any edits will be made in the form of a new reply stating the parliament that made the edit (eg. August 2019) and the edit.
If the Act of Parliament is/was overturned, that post will be moved to the "Outdated/Invalid" section with a new reply citing the bill that overturned it.
Future edits will be posted by replying with the standard format plus the parliament that made the edit.

The reasoning section allows the MP to explain why they are suggestion the motion, and the Motion section will be the actual bill implemented to allow for better, more concise reading.
